The Oliver group uses multidimensional ultrafast laser spectroscopies with high temporal and spectral resolution to investigate the molecular mechanisms underpinning energy and charge transfer in biological systems such as DNA, natural photosynthetic pigment-protein complexes and photovoltaic materials. We are also actively developing experimental techniques to couple sub-diffraction limit imaging with ultrafast spectroscopy.
